Using hashtags gives you a greater chance of being seen by more people as opposed to not using any hashtags. Using the right hashtags can help increase your engagement, gain new followers, and expand your blog readers. A total win as a blogger.

So what are the right hashtags? 

It is always best to research into the hashtags you are planning to use and not settle on only using the most popular ones. Instead, use a mixture of popular hashtags and less popular (niche specific) hashtags. Why? Only using the most popular hashtags will give your post a greater chance of being hidden by the millions and millions of other posts using that same hashtag.

For instance, #love is the most used hashtag on Instagram with 1.7B posts. Yikes. On the other hand, #bestofmoms (on the list below!) only has 22.8k posts, which means your post with that particular hashtag has a better chance of being found by others.
