Sunflower Picture Ideas To Take This Fall

September 5, 2021

Happy Sunday loves! It’s officially September, which means you’ll see more and more sunflowers popping up all over the place. Although I love sunflowers at any time, and I usually have a few in a vase in my home, there is something so enchanting about seeing a large sunflower field this time of the year. It’s one of my favorite things to see as summer comes to an end.

“A sunflower field is like a sky with a thousand suns.”

Corina Abdulahm-Negura

Sunflowers are such a beautiful reminder that fall is coming soon. I love doing all the Fall things; taking sunflower pictures is always on the top of my list. Now with two little ones you will absolutely find me out there this year to capture their beauty and watch my little ones in awe.

“Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadows. It’s what the sunflowers do.” — Helen Keller

Today I have put together a list of sunflower picture ideas that you can take with you to the field. Hopefully, there is a pose on this list that works best for you. Or be sure to combine a few to get the exact look you want! Stand tall, be bright, and have fun with your sunflower photos! Enjoy!

Always look at the brighter side of life, just like the sunflower which looks upon the sun, not the dark clouds.”

Sunflowers In front of Your Face

No need to worry if you blink! Sunflowers in front of your face are a great way to capture you and the sunflowers without worrying about making a not-so-camera-ready face.

Turn Your Back

Another great way to ensure it doesn’t matter what your expression looks like — turn your back on the camera! I love the idea of sticking one in your pocket like below!

As a serial highlighter and tabber, this book would have been ABSOLUTELY COVERED in little tabs if it was a physical copy. My Kindle highlights will have to suffice until pub day (June 2027) because I have so many thoughts.

the ghosts, the art, the wasps, the homewrecking…

This book was strange, sad, funny, beautifully unsettling, and somehow incredibly comforting all at once… and I loved it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My full review ⚠️with spoilers ⚠️ is up on the blog!

Thank you @netgalley @spiegelandgrau @beckymandelbaum for this amazing ARC!
