Top 10 Pink Beauty Products

January 28, 2018
Beauty products… oh, how I love you so much. I’ve always been a sucker for trying the newest and most talked about beauty products out there. From years and years of trial and error, I have learned exactly which beauty products work best for me, my skin, and my hair. Conveniently enough, they all happen to be pink. I may have a problem with loving pink too much. But as I have discovered, pink products love me right back.

My Top 10 Beauty Products

My daily routine includes the following products in this order:

1. Clarisonic Mia Skin Cleansing System – Pink •

I have always had super sensitive and acne-prone skin, so I was SUPER hesitant to purchase this product. But four years later, I still never go a day without it. The Clarisonic Mia gently yet deeply cleanse your pores, giving you silky-smooth, radiantly fresh and clear skin! I bought pink, but this product comes in so many colors!

2. Onomie Bright Concealing Elixir • $30

Dark circles have haunted me for my entire life. I could sleep for days, wake up feeling refreshed and energized, but still: dark circles. This concealer does more than mask my raccoon eyes. Onomie’s Bright Concealing Elixir instantly corrects dark circles while treating under eye darkness over time. I’ve truly noticed a brighter appearance under my eyes after using this for 3 years! There is a shade for every skin type, too!

3. Beautyblender Original Makeup Sponge Applicator • Beautyblender

Although I have always preferred to apply under eye concealer with my finger, I’ve been using and loving the Beautyblender for over one year now and have officially given my finger a rest. This was an impulse buy for me, I wanted to see what all the rage was about. I am so happy I did it. I love the effortless way it helps me apply my makeup.

4. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara • Too Faced

I have always been a drug-store mascara girl. Last year for my wedding I decided to get false eyelashes – not the one time application and peel off at night kind, but the hour long professional application that lasts for weeks. I kept this up for months after my wedding and my lashes paid dearly for it. Once I gave up the beauty obsession, my lashes were short and thinned out. I decided to try a mascara that claimed “lush, incredibly intense lashes” and this mascara does not disappoint. I don’t think I can ever give it up – and it’s certainly a lot cheaper than the professional false lashes.

5. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush • Tarte

Again, I have sensitive and acne-prone skin. When I find beauty products that don’t cause me breakouts, I never let them go. This is one of those products. It adds a soft and natural looking touch of pink to my cheeks, lasts all day, and comes in a variety of colors – I wear “glisten”

6. Real Techniques Blush Brush • Real Techniques

To apply my Tarte Blush, I use the Real Techniques Blush Brush. I love this brush for its super soft and plush bristles that help create a flawless finish. Oh, and I love that it is pink and super affordable.

7. Mario Badescu Aloe, Herbs & Rosewater Facial Spray/4 oz. • Mario Badescu

When my makeup routine is complete, I love to give it a hydrating spritz. This facial spray feels and smells incredibly delicate. Especially during the cold months, I like to use it multiple times throughout the day to refresh and rehydrate and give my face a much needed boost.

8.Wet Brush Pastel

This hair brush has been a miracle worker. A life savor. My holy grail for hair products. I have very fine hair that somehow tangles even while I sit perfectly still. The Wet Brush detangles my hair in an instant, without the pain and damage. I recommend this product to everyone I know, especially those with small children who may hate getting their hair brushed.

9. Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum 1.7 oz. • Viktor & Rolf

Six years ago I found a magazine perfume insert of Flowerbomb and commented on how amazing it smelled. My husband (at the time boyfriend) bought it for me, and has continued to buy it for me every year since. Although I have other perfumes (because you can’t just have one scent!) this is absolutely my all-time-favorite and go-to scent, I can’t imagine not having it in my perfume collection.

10. Murad Pore Rescue Pore Extractor Pomegranate Mask • Murad

OK, so this product I do not use every day like the others, but that’s only because it wouldn’t be beneficial for my skin. I love this face mask: it smells wonderful and leaves my skin feeling fresh and looking polished! I use this mask about 2 or 3 times each week.

As a serial highlighter and tabber, this book would have been ABSOLUTELY COVERED in little tabs if it was a physical copy. My Kindle highlights will have to suffice until pub day (June 2027) because I have so many thoughts.

the ghosts, the art, the wasps, the homewrecking…

This book was strange, sad, funny, beautifully unsettling, and somehow incredibly comforting all at once… and I loved it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My full review ⚠️with spoilers ⚠️ is up on the blog!

Thank you @netgalley @spiegelandgrau @beckymandelbaum for this amazing ARC!
