The Best Babywearing for Fall Adventures

We are still going strong checking items off our list of fall things to do with a baby. This week we visited two local farms that each had a crazy amount of pumpkins, live music, and corn mazes. We spent at least 3 hours at each farm with a scenic drive home, giving John a much-needed car nap (see the first picture above for a sleepy face). I am loving all our fall adventures, but honestly, we wouldn’t be able to get any of these things done if it wasn’t for babywearing.

John can’t stand to be held in anyone’s arms for too long; he always wants to get down and be independent. However, he will happily hang around in a baby carrier all day long. Thank goodness! My go-to baby carrier is the Infantino Carry On Carrier.  It’s a soft structured carrier (see below for more) which is always best for outdoor activities and long periods of wearing. They are super practical and easy to maneuver especially if you struggle with other carriers (like baby slings).

I love this particular carrier because it is incredibly easy to get John in and out by myself, and it has so many pockets that make carrying your keys, money, binky, or food incredibly easy and convenient. Although we have been doing our fall list of things with the hubby, there are plenty of times I wear John when I am out by myself, and I can confidently say this particular carrier I can easily get him on and off by myself.

At our fall outings, I strap John to me all day and he is the happiest camper, waving hi to everyone all the while mocking anyone who coughs. You gotta love babies, right?
