10 Stunning Farmhouse Christmas Porch Ideas

November 1, 2020

Happy Sunday and happy 1st of November! I cannot believe October is already over! I start watching Halloween movies in July in anticipation. Today, Christmas movies have begun! Although my Halloween decor is not coming down today, my mind is already planning the switch to Christmas decor, and all those movies on TV don’t help move my mind away from all the holly, jolly, and cheer. Christmas decor will be up by the end of this week, no doubt.

It’s such a rainy, gloomy day here today… therefore, my mind automatically goes to fixing up the house! If you caught my fall porch ideas, you read that I like to start my holiday decor outside (again, I won’t be doing that today…). It gives the impression you have it all together inside… even if you’re a holiday behind. Guilty. Farmhouse decor is a go-to favorite of mine, which is why I have put together this list of ways you can transform your porch into a farmhouse Christmas haven. Enjoy!

Galvanized

One feature you will oftentimes find in a farmhouse aesthetic — galvanized items! Galvanized Christmas tree planters are a clever and fun way to easily add a farmhouse touch to your holiday decor.

Classic Red

Red for the holidays instantly creates a classic Christmas vibe. Opt for a red door and immediately make a bold and eye-catching statement that will require minimal decor to look complete. Add a few burlap touches and some minor red details to tie it all together (how cute are those red rain boots?).

Tree Box

In love with these DIY Christmas tree boxes by Jordan Jean. The addition of white Christmas trees really sets the tone for this stunning Farmhouse porch.

Go Big

This farmhouse porch is decorated to perfection by using oversized decor. From the large and layered buffalo check doormat, the red Christmas tree bulbs, the wooden JOY sign, and finally the twinkling garland — oversized makes a stunning statement.

Simple, Stunning Farmhouse

One super long, statement-making, lit garland is all this gorgeous Christmas porch by Allie needs. Those oversized DIY shutters frame the black front door and add a ridiculously beautiful touch that completes this farmhouse porch.

Black & White

Black and white with a pop of color (how gorgeous is this yellow?!) is an all-time favorite look of mine. The oversized black planters with trees creates a dramatic and sophisticated farmhouse vibe.

Pinecones

Leave the tinsel and bulbs aside this year and incorporate natural elements into your holiday decor, like pinecones!

Cozy Up

Add plush pillows and throws to your porch seating to create a super cozy Christmas vibe. Surrounded by greenery and fairy lights, you’re sure to want to stay home for the holidays with a warm cup of cocoa. For more details on this gorgeous Farmhouse porch, check out Home Stories A to Z.

Jingle Bells

Adding accents of bells (seen on the porch and hanging on the wreaths) can create a unique antique-farmhouse vibe.

“All fame cost her was everything.” 🎸✨💋
Darkening Song by Delphine Seddon was such a fun read. When I saw it being placed in the same space as #daisyjonesandthesix I immediately requested this ARC. Thank you @netgalley and @stmartinspress — I can’t wait for the adaptation!

Daisy Jones & The Six — one of my favorite book adaptations ever. 📚 More books need to be made into a limited TV series rather than crammed into a movie. #daisyjonesandthesix #bookadaptation #bookstagrammer #bookstagram #bookflatlay
