Our Easter Indoors with Sweet Smashmallow

April 13, 2020

Happy Easter!

Yesterday we celebrated Easter like no year before — mainly indoors and just the four of us. We took a much needed long walk around our neighborhood; stopping to smell every rose, tree, leaf on the sidewalk, fire hydrant — just kidding, we didn’t get close enough to smell, but John is beyond obsessed with pointing and shouting in pure joy every time we see one. And dogs. Let’s not forget the overwhelming joy seeing a dog brings him. We ran into a  few neighborhood favorites on our walk.

We played in our yard with his Easter gift from us, a Snappy Turtle Mower — it is sooo cute! Plus the neighbors are very appreciative of his lawn mowing services. His grandparents dropped off a few little gifts for him, including an adorable Squishmallow Kangaroo that he loves to cuddle with. Side note, the kangaroo is an aspiring mommy blogger, so it’s pretty much a plush version of myself. (kidding… kind of)

Snuggles with Smashmallow

Our Easter Indoors with Sweet Smashmallow

Along with the Squishmallow cuddling, we set blankets out on the floor for some fun snuggle sessions. I got to make some seriously sweet and fun hot chocolate with my Smashmallow’s that I received. For my Easter hot chocolate, I used the cookie dough flavor.  I love love love the chocolate chips!

Our Easter Indoors with Sweet Smashmallow

The variety egg-hunt pack (perfectly named for Easter) comes with individually wrapped flavors, which John loved playing with, and Daphne was so curious about. (not pictured: Daphne’s desperate attempt at eating a Smashmallow). They are a perfect little treat to add to your hot chocolate, your coffee, or just to snack on (my husband).

Our Easter Indoors with Sweet Smashmallow

We’ll be keeping these fun marshmallow treats in stock in our pantry from now on. They taste delicious and make hot chocolate a little more fun. If you are interested in seeing all the options, check out the Smashmallow website or Amazon! Enjoy!

“Beauty and the Beast meets organized crime” that was enough for me. Instantly needed to read this. Loved it. Cannot wait for more because the ending? That cliffhanger? How dare you. Happy pub day @sadie_kincaidxx !! ♥️

“All fame cost her was everything.” 🎸✨💋
Darkening Song by Delphine Seddon was such a fun read. When I saw it being placed in the same space as #daisyjonesandthesix I immediately requested this ARC. Thank you @netgalley and @stmartinspress — I can’t wait for the adaptation!

Daisy Jones & The Six — one of my favorite book adaptations ever. 📚 More books need to be made into a limited TV series rather than crammed into a movie. #daisyjonesandthesix #bookadaptation #bookstagrammer #bookstagram #bookflatlay
