June 10, 2026

Real is all it's ever been. - No Place Like You After a month of straight horror reads (seriously, why do I do this to myself), No Place Like You by Jillian Meadows felt like a breath of the cleanest air. Not just because it's literally the complete opposite of horror, but because it has thi[...]

How to Kill a Guy in Ten Dates: Final Girl Energy… But Can She Find Love?

April 12, 2026

Does anyone actually win Goodreads giveaways? That was the question constantly living in my mind month after month as I entered so many giveaways. I felt about as hopeful as every other girl in Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! when Rosalee’s name gets called. (my mind has been so heavy with romcoms[...]

Claimed by Darkness Review: A Romantasy That Claimed Me In Confusion

April 9, 2026

"He looks at me like if he exists somewhere in heaven, then I am every cloud and each star and all the tiny molecules that keep him in place there, preventing him from crashing down to Earth." - Claimed by Darkness by S. R. Hartley As an unapologetic lover of romantasy, I saw this audiobook[...]

The Fourth Wife by Linda Hamilton Review: When Gothic Horror Meets Sister Wives

April 4, 2026

"What did it matter to a man if he wrought horrors to create the vision he saw? He would still be called righteous for it." - The Fourth Wife by Linda Hamilton I used to watch Sister Wives the way it's intended: as a slow-moving, train wreak of a social experiment. I couldn’t look away fro[...]

A decaying estate with a library full of secrets (both literal and figurative) all wrapped in a Gothic atmosphere… The Story Keeper by Kelly Rimmer sounded like it was written for me. Like my favorite book, Rebecca (which was mentioned in this story!!)

Thank you so much for the ALC @netgalley
